Thank you for your interest in our club!

Our purpose is to promote cross-cultural relationships amongst Newton High School students. The Global Buddies Club groups international students  (ELL students) with a non-ELL student from Newton North and South to meet periodically. We hold group meetings twice a month with all members to share cultural perspectives and build long-lasting friendships.

Global Buddies promotes intercultural communication and understanding between ELL and non-ELL students from the Newton High Schools through the sharing of culture and the development of friendships. It is a virtual international exchange!

Join the fun and make a friend from a different part of the world! We’ll discuss current topics, share experiences, play group games, make connections, hold group learning activities, etc..
