Why are you interested in working with The History Center?
What parts of our local history are you passionate about? What would you like to learn more about?
Ongoing trainings on a variety of topics ranging from local history, and cultural competency, to first aid will be available to docents on a regular basis. These trainings are not required however we would like Exhibit Hall workers to commit to attending at least 4 programs per year, is this something you can commit to?

COVID-19 Safety Precautions - Please review the Health & Safety Protocols on our website at thehistorycenter.net/health for our current safety and sanitation protocols. Masks are currently optional for front desk staff but still encouraged during busy shifts. All public facing positions must agree to let their supervisor know as soon as possible if they believe they may have been exposed to the virus or begin to experience symptoms. Are you able to follow and practice these safety protocols? *
Do you regularly travel or leave Ithaca/Tompkins County during certain parts of the year? If yes please specify when.
