Applications for "free individual psychological counseling" for LGBTI+ refugees are now open!
We are now offering free and individual psychological counseling services to LGBTI+ refugees. Within the scope of our project "Psychological Counseling for LGBTI+ Refugees living in Turkey'' until December 2024, we aim to provide short-term psychological support to improve problem-solving skills.
Who can apply? - Those who cannot access mental health services due to their refugee status
- Those whose native language is not Turkish and who wish to access mental health services in their native language
- Those who cannot access mental health services due to financial constraints
- Those who identify themselves as LGBTI+ can benefit from the counseling service.
- Applications are open throughout Turkey.
- Priority will be given to those directly or indirectly affected by the earthquake.
- 18 years of age and over
How does the process work? - You need first to fill out the application form.
- An initial interview will be held with those who fill out the application form and meet the application conditions.
- After the initial interview, psychological support services will be provided to those who are deemed suitable.
- Sessions are free of charge.
- Sessions will be held online.
- Dates of the sessions will be determined by the joint decision of the counselee and the psychologists.
- The number of sessions is determined as 12 sessions.
- Regular attendance to the sessions is mandatory.
