Welcome to Norwegian course B1 with Siri Språkskole and Queer World. My name is Siri, and I will be your teacher for the course.

Learning Norwegian will help you integrate to the Norwegian society, improve you job opportunities and you will have invested in a skill for yourself. I am looking forward to take part in your journey towards speaking fluently Norwegian and to help to open new doors to a better life in Norway.

Level: Norwegian course B1
The Norwegian course B1 is for those of us who already have basic knowledge of Norwegian (A1 and A2) and are ready to start learning intermediate level of the Norwegian language. Read more about the levels in the Curriculum for Norwegian training for adult immigrants.

Free course
Siri Språkskole and Skeiv Verden offer will offer three Norwegian courses for intermediate level B1 and B2 for free during 2024. The courses are funded by of IMDi (Directorate of Immigration and Diversity). Norwegian course B1 is the first course in the series of courses, and this time around you can apply for a spot for B1 in this form.

Curriculum
Course material is included. You will have access to the digital plattform, textbook and workbook of Stein på stein (2021-Edition).

Course diploma
Siri Språkskole is approved as official provider of Norwegian Training by the Directorate of Higher Education and Competency (HK-dir). You will receive a course diploma upon successful completion of the course with the amount of hours attended. These certificates are valid to document Norwegian skills in UDI applications for permanent residency.

Safe classrooms
My passion is to make a safe classroom for all participants in the course, especially those of us who belongs to a minority group. In the courses we use the Safe-Space guidelines developed by Queer World. If you want to contribute to a safe environment or need one yourself, this course is right for you!

Application process
There are limited spots in the course, and candidates therefore has to go through an application in this form, and an enrollment test before entering the course. We will contact you if you are qualified for the enrollment-test.
