KCPS Staff Feedback- Blueprint 2030

Blueprint 2030 will establish a vision/goals for KCPS and identifies a series of actions we need to take, starting NOW, to reach that vision by 2030. Blueprint 2030 will serve as the update to the current KCPS Strategic Plan. We need your help to develop this vision and action plan. Please take a few minutes and provide your feedback on a several items below that will greatly assist the planning effort.

Note: Some of these questions were addressed during the lunch conversations with the executive team. Please feel free to skip these questions if you already provided feedback. Please share your feedback on the remaining questions.

At which school(s) do you work?

What are we doing well that we need to expand upon over the next 3-5 years? Do you have ideas for how KCPS could do this?

If you controlled the purse-strings & decision-making, what 1-2 things would you prioritize at your school or across the district over the next 3-5 years that you think would have the most significant positive impact for students and staff?

Most surrounding districts have 6th grade in middle schools as opposed to elementary schools. Do you think our 6th grade students would benefit from being in a middle school environment or are their needs better met in elementary schools? If so, why?

We have drafted some preliminary goals for the district that could be included in the plan. Please review the goal statements and let us know what you think. Note: we have not yet defined set targets, so you'll see "X%" included. All goal statements will be benchmarked and a specific target set after we get feedback on whether these are the right set of goal statements to move the district forward.
