Wood Duck Citizen Science Project
Goals: Help monitor the presence of wood ducks within the Boulder Lake Management Area

***You need to participate in an informational training before participating in the Wood Duck Nest watch project.


Participants will:
-Learn about wood ducks and other cavity nesters that can be found in the area
-Help monitor the BLELC wood duck boxes for signs of activity
-Get outside and have fun!


Summary:

-Takes place starting in late April or early May and goes until the end of the breeding season
-A volunteer will go out a least once a week to monitor the nesting boxes for any signs of activity
-Volunteers will record any observations that they made and BLELC staff will enter them into Nest watch
