An individual is not eligible for certification until they have completed the coursework and a practicum experience. A practicum is strongly suggested for this course. Please read through and check each box below:

I understand that I have a minimum of 9 months and a maximum of 24 months to complete my practicum after the end of my coursework. Beyond the 24 month period course audits may be required.
I understand that according to OGA Standards a Bachelor's degree is a prerequisite.
I understand that after completing Classroom Educator coursework I am eligible for a Classroom Educator practicum (group of 2 minimum of classroom)

I understand that daily attendance for the entirety of the course is required for credit. Partial credit will not be given.
I understand that completion of the asynchronous videos and assignments are course is required for credit.
I understand that there will be a sound articulation self-check. This is to support consistency in sound pronunciation for the teaching of reading and spelling only. Supports will be provided for trainees to prepare for the self-check.
I understand that there will be assignments during training that will be due during the course.
I understand payment is due prior to the course, or with a signed agreement for a school/organization using Title Funding.
I understand after the interview a course agreement will need to be completed to officially register for the course.
