How can training and/or technical assistance help? COHHIO's Youth Housing Initiative team can support your work in a wide variety of ways, such as:
improving overall outcomes,
assessing effectiveness,
improving identification and access for youth,
developing local coordination,
budgeting & sustainability,
improving supportive services,
continuous quality improvement,
organizational re-structuring,
corrective action planning,
reporting,
grant writing,
compliance,
and more.
Who can request training and technical assistance? Any non-profit organization, school-district, or system serving or connected to youth in a homelessness or housing capacity may request technical assistance and/or training.
Training and technical assistance is individualized to meet the needs of the organization, school-district or system. At minimum, a one hour virtual conversation around your request for training and/or technical assistance and documentation of the conversation will be provided to you. More in-depth/on-going assistance and documentation of assistance provided is encouraged and available to you if requested/appropriate.
