MAATA Student Senate Call for Senators 2023 - State Representative Application

If you are looking to extend your role as a leader or a new way to begin your professional development, please consider applying to the Student Senate. The organization is currently seeking a representative, who will serve a 2-year commitment, from each state who's dedicated, motivated, reliable, ethical, and has a strong desire to collaborate within a leadership group. A representative is defined as an athletic training student currently enrolled in a professional athletic training program at the 1st year level of the Fall 2023 semester.

These application questions are designed to get to know you as a person, as an athletic training student, and why you are interested in joining the Student Senate. Your responses should be based on the quality of content and not the quantity that you write.

Part 4: Reference

Each applicant is required to have two references. These references should be someone who can speak to your character, leadership skills, professional attributes, weaknesses, and capabilities of taking on this volunteer endeavor. You are encouraged to select a reference who can speak to your potential leadership as an athletic trainer but it is not required. The references should NOT be a personal friend or family member. References need to submit the appropriate google form by October 15th, 2023. The Student Senate Faculty Advisors may then contact the listed reference for further information if necessary. Please identify your references in the following section.
