Starship Sound Tech Auditions 2024-2025
Fill out this form if you would like to be a sound tech for Starship.  Starship meets after school 3-4 days a week, as well as Tuesday nights through February.  February/March is VERY busy, and tapers off after March.  You must be enrolled in a regular music class during the school day to participate in this group.
You must be able to lift at least 25lbs by yourself.
You must have a strong musical ear/focus to sit through the same show over and over again.
You must realize you will not be the star of the show, but you are the most important person to the success of our show.
You must be willing to be critiqued on your work without getting offended.
You must have a strong attention to detail.  We're entrusting you with over $10,000 of equipment.  It must be handled properly and safely.
It's a big job, but it's a lot of fun to be a part of the group!

Other things to know about Starship
Starship is a class that you are graded for.  You also have other classes during the day that YOU MUST PASS.  If you have below a 2.0 at semester, you will be kicked out of the group.  If you have behavior problems, or engage in illegal activities for  teenagers during school/school activities/field trips, you will be kicked out of the group.  You are required to work hard and have fun!  Do you understand the three major rules of Starship?
