How you setup and run your campsite can have a big effect on avoiding (or encouraging) Bear encounters. While no campsite is completely "Bear-proof" below are some basic tips to make your campsite much less likely to attract a Black Bear visitor.

Below is an explanation of the Bear-muda Triangle, a good way to setup your campsite in bear country.
