Objectives:
1. To engage the audience from Physics perspectives
2. To boosts student interest in Science, Technology, and Mathematics through real-world problems.
3. To provide the purpose of STEM empowerment among students for their future career
Content:
Not every student is as excited about physics as Einstein. In this session, the reasons why physics is the uttermost hated subject by students are going to be on a long list. However, from hate physics so much so that she ditches all her school’s physics textbooks, Dr. Nina will bring the audience her journey to then pursue her Ph.D. in Plasma Physics and then being appointed as the Physics Education Lecturer. She will share how she finds the new horizon of physics through the real problem and physics phenomena that able to help her fall in love with Physics again and again.
Meanwhile, Dr Ain is obsessed with Physics since her first time knowing the existence of Physics in school. For her, being answered is the best feeling ever, and exploring Physics gives her that. As an extrovert, not only exploring Physics, but she loves talking about it, especially Optics, the study of light. Join her seeing the beauty of light beyond the school textbook, from understanding the why, why and why about light, to how optics make the better world.
