The
NYC Pickleball 7-Week Individual Ladder League is the best way to play against similarly skilled players and test your abilities as a player and a partner. Every week during regular season, you will play four games to 15, partnering once with each of the 4 other players assigned to your court. Based on weekly results, you will move up, move down, or stay on the same level the following week. Weekly league points for each player are earned based on point differential, wins, and court level.
Pre-registration is used to gauge numbers and make sure we can fill the leagues with a mix of new and returning players. - Advanced Beginner League begins Friday, March 15th
- Intermediate I League begins Monday, March 18th
- Intermediate II League begins Monday, March 18th
- Advanced League begins Sunday, March 25th
Advanced Beginner and Intermediate I Leagues will be filled in two rounds:
- Round 1: Top 50% from the most recent season
- Round 2: Public registration opens on Friday morning (3/8) at 9am, first come first served! Pre-registered players will be emailed the link as soon as it goes live.
Intermediate II and Advanced Leagues will be filled in four rounds, from the top down. Players must be pre-registered to be considered for the following rounds. There will be no public signups for these levels.
- Round 1: Top 50% of most recent season, by gender for advanced level
- Round 2: New players referred by Round 1 members; verified players who did not play in the most recent season
- Round 3: Remaining players from last season; new unverified players with qualifying DUPR profiles, tournament results, or video submissions (we will reach out to you via email)
- Round 4: Anyone who pre-registers with an appropriate self-rating
After the season begins, organizers reserve the right to ask players to move up or down a league based on player performance or waitlist and roster changes within the first 2-3 weeks.
