The Pearl (Alley) Jam Volunteer Sign-Up Sheet
UDO is seeking volunteers for our new community arts event, The Pearl (Alley) Jam!  The event will showcase local artists painting murals on select dumpsters from Pearl Alley as well as performances from local musicians and entertainers.  

The Pearl (Alley) Jam will be held, you guessed it, Pearl Alley between 15th and 16th Ave and at University Square Plaza (15th Ave and High St) on October 7th and 8th, from 10am to 6pm.

Volunteers will receive an event t-shirt, a drink token, and a food token.  It's gonna be fun, so join us to help make this event successful!!  

UDO is seeking volunteers to help us with:

  • Performing Artist Hospitality: Help the entertainers set up and tear down their equipment, help with entertainers' merch table, general hospitality, etc.
  • Artist & Vendor Support: Hospitality assistance for artists and vendors
  • Info Table & Merch Table Operations: Assist event staff with running an info table, event merch, and handle basic first aid needs
  • Event Hospitality & Sustainability: Make sure that people don't leave the event with alcohol, help people recycle properly, pick up discarded trash
  • Beverage Tent: Check ID's if drinking alcohol, sell tokens for drinks, pour drinks for attendees; MUST BE 21 OR OLDER
  • Dumpster Priming: FRIDAY OCT 6 ONLY; each dumpster we paint will need to be painted with a white primer on the day before the event; all primer and painting supplies will be provided by UDO
  • Event Tear-Down: We will need volunteers to help us clean up the event space on both days of the event
