Watford has one of the most diverse (and amazing) communities in Hertfordshire. Yet, when it comes to radio, some of our community is woefully under-represented.
Watford Hospitals Broadcasting Service has been serving the patients and staff of West Hertfordshire Hospitals Trust for over 65 years. We now want to extend our reach throughout Watford and surrounding places.
We want to create a radio station that connects, talks and listens to YOU. A radio station that truly REFLECTS what our community need. A radio station that ADAPTS as our community changes.
Music, interviews, events, competitions, phone-ins, volunteering are just the start of it with as much local talent as possible featured.
Finally, we want to achieve this as a non-profit rather than business ensuring that we are not distracted in our cause.
