The Automotive Career Development Center (ACDC) is planning to offer free training on hybrid and electric vehicle service for qualifying employees of shops located in Massachusetts. Please fill out the form below so our team can contact you when the training is ready to begin enrolling technicians.
Why does this training matter?
Massachusetts has now mandated that starting in 2035 new vehicle sales must be plug-in vehicles (plug-in hybrids or all electric). Vehicle manufacturers have begun ramping up marketing and production of their electric vehicles, gas prices are increasing, and more people are considering electric vehicles for their next vehicle purchase. This means auto shops in MA need to be prepared for shift in the industry. Big dealerships and large auto repair shops that have big budgets can support their employees to be trained in EV service. To help keep the many small and mid-size repair shops thriving, ACDC is working with project partners to design a workforce training program that will offer free training to their technicians.
Why should I complete this form?
Filling this out will also put you in our database of shop owners and employees to reach out to when we are signing up technicians to receive this free training.
By filling out this form, do I have to participate in the proposed training program?
No. This form shows your interest, but in no way commits your shop to participate in the program. This form does not guarantee you a spot in the training program either.
