To provide child care for working parents, the Latch Key Child Care program is in operation during the ‘Red’ Status for K-5 students from 6:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
To reserve a spot everyone must complete a form for each child, including parents who have already registered this year. Jerry Ross and Lake Street Elementary Schools will host the program.
To adhere to social distancing protocols there is a limit to the number of spots available at a school site. Jerry Ross can accept the first 36 students and Lake Street the first 34 students. The application time stamp for the first of multiple children in a family will determine the order.
A weekly fee will be charged to reserve a spot for the week.

To reserve your child's spot for the upcoming week, prepay by the last day of each week (Wednesday, November 25; Friday, December 4; Friday, December 11; and Friday, December 18). If payment is not made by the last day of each week, your child will not be permitted to attend the following week and your spot will be given to the next person on the waiting list and your name will be added to the end of the waiting list.
In order to formally apply for Latch Key Program for Child Care a $10.00 annual non-refundable family enrollment fee must be paid. All checks should be made payable to the school your child attends: Eisenhower Latch Key, Jerry Ross Latch Key, Lake Street Latch Key, MacArthur Latch Key, Solon Robinson Latch Key, Timothy Ball Latch Key or Winfield Latch Key.
