As the owner and operator of Plum Creek Silvofarm, I have developed a vast skillset that I look forward to sharing with you. My farm embraces its diversity, with a variety of livestock, plants, terrain, and wildlife. I currently intensively manage cattle, goats, pigs, poultry, and horses throughout our silvopastures and neighboring properties.
Overall my goal is to improve your land, woodlands or property through proper management of your available resources (land, structures, livestock, wildlife, etc.). With proper management, you will most immediately notice improved aesthetics and efficiencies, improved forage, as well as less undesirable or invasive species. Long term benefits include improved soil heath, reduced erosion, and improved water quality.
In addition to my farm, over the last several decades, I have worked with many horse enthusiasts, horse owners, stable owners, and trainers from Minnesota, to Texas, to Arizona and more. There is a wide range of diversity within the horse industry, with so many breeds and disciplines, there is no one-size-fits all approach. Management styles and facility requirements are specific to each individual situation. These experiences and travels have given me a well rounded knowledge base, that I am happy to share with you.
