Please join us on Zoom as we write letters to our reps and letters to the editor in support of the "FOR THE PEOPLE" ACT! This landmark bill is an omnibus with many elements designed to PROTECT OUR DEMOCRACY. Passing it will make it much easier to pass other progressive legislation in the House and Senate over the next 2 years -- and with our razor-thin margins, we can't afford to waste that opportunity!

This bill is moving forward in both the House of Representatives (H.R.1) and the Senate (S.1) and we should encourage our legislators to push for it — and push hard! And we should use our local news outlets to encourage our neighbors to support it, too.

We will provide a packet of informational talking points (if you'd like to draft your own letter) and letter templates (if you don't), along with useful information about where to send your message. Just pour yourself a glass of wine or brew a cup of coffee, hang out with us, and get your creative (and opinionated!) juices flowing!
