Come and share your exciting career path to the students in our Learning to Work Program!

Career Day offers a series of interactive workshops featuring professionals from various career fields who share about their career path option. Our goal is to expose youth and help facilitate an opportunity for our students to engage in conversations about their postsecondary path and obtain primary information from their field of interest.

The Learning To Work program uses a holistic approach in working with students and their families enrolled at Innovation DP HS. LTW offers an array of services to students including case management, counseling, crisis intervention, attendance outreach, career exploration, and college advisement, and offers students paid internship opportunities in which they will gain knowledge, experience and attain skills in the workforce. Innovation DP HS is a transfer high school servicing over-age, under-credited students in overcoming obstacles that impede their progress towards earning a high school diploma and developing a solid post-secondary educational and career plan. CCCS Alianza and Innovation DP collaboration has been able to engage and successfully graduate over 500 youth who otherwise would have been high school dropouts.
