Welcome to The Collective Market at 83 Centre St S In Oshawa! My name is Mary Kovacs and I am the owner of this handmade boutique/coffee shop. I am a wife, mom and full-time Real Estate Agent (@marykovacsrealtor and @marykovacs_realtor) & Business Owner.
I really love having a store in the core of a city I love so much. As an entrepreneur and maker myself, I love seeing all of the talent and handmade vendors we have. I renovated this space myself over the course of 8 weeks in the summer of 2023 – my literal blood, sweat and tears went into it.
Here is a breakdown of the store footprint:
MAIN LEVEL
• Checkout counter and coffee/treats shop
• 70+ handmade vendors items displayed
• Working desk area
SECOND LEVEL
• Drop in toddler room
• Drop in arts and crafts room
• Seating area
• Branding room
LOFT
• Large furnished area
• Comfortably holds about 15 - 20 people
• We use it for tea parties, photography rental, workshops, events and more
VENDORS TO KNOW
• Signing your name at the bottom of this acts as the contract between myself as the store and you as the vendor
• This is a minimum 3-month commitment and month to month thereafter
• 45 days notice is needed to end your subscription
• Rental is
• Please include 13% HST in your pricing
• We take into consideration where you want your shelf space to be, however we reserve the right to move your items around as we best see fit
• Vendors get paid bi-weekly – every other Monday
• Your subscription starts either the 1st or the 14th of the month
• Vendors will have 24 hours after they are accepted to purchase the subscription that they want – all accepted vendors will get an email with next steps and payment links
• Vendors will have Vendor Portal where they upload their product photos, pricing and descriptions. You will be able to see in real time what is selling when a sale is made.
• FREE POP UPS – All vendors will be able to have pop-ups when they want to
• FREE BRANDING ROOM – All vendors can book the branding room and the loft for free to get photos of their products and photos of themselves for branding – I have a product box and ring light that can be used
