Survivor Art Exhibit Interest Form
Sexual Assault Response Service of Southern Maine will be holding a Sexual Assault Awareness Month Survivor Art Exhibit and Reception during the month of April at the University of Southern Maine (USM) in Portland. SARSSM is calling all survivors who would like to show case their art in the exhibit. The submissions can range from a variety of topics of your choosing! Some examples might be the #MeToo Movement, survivor empowerment, and social justice issues. We are prompting folks to take a creative liberty in regards to the art piece they choose to make/show. All artists can wish to remain confidential (meaning no one but SARSSM will know your name), however, anonymity will not be an option, as the folks organizing this event will need to have contact information for the artist.

SARSSM and USM strive to host events that are accessible to all. To make sure that everyone's needs are met to the best of our ability, there is an accommodation check list in this form.

USM Students: This form is shared to SARSSM, a confidential resource. If you choose to have your name displayed with your contribution, please be aware that, due to USM's mandated reporting rules, your name will be shared with the Deputy Title IX Coordinator, Dr. Sarah Holmes. The safety of our students is paramount, and Dr. Holmes will reach out to ensure any named party understands their options and the support resources that are available to them.
