Shared Incident Database Training Registration
Equals, in partnership with CVC, is conducting a training on the use of the Shared Incident Database (SID). SID is a regional tool that is used to document cases of human rights violations of marginalised groups. Being able to record such cases are important because then there is documented evidence that a person can use if they need to file a complaint, such as at a healthcare facility or your place of employment, or even if you wanted to press charges to the perpetrator and have hard evidence, especially when the police don't take LGBTQ+people seriously when they want to report an incident.

The training will occur virtually and therefore, you must have a device capable of using zoom and a web browser. The Safe Space can also be made available to persons who do may not have a space at home that allows them to access the training comfortable.  A date to be determined for some time in November
