Welcome back to school! The following contains important information about the choir program at Reagan Academy and the upcoming year.  Students and parents need to read it over carefully and sign the signature page (google form) before Friday, Aug. 25th.

Class objective
Choir provides opportunities for students to develop their musical potential and aesthetic understanding through learning to sing varied choral pieces. Study includes the care and cultivation of a beautiful tone, the ability to read music, the building of technical skills, team spirit, and responsible rehearsal habits. Students will have opportunities to experience the spontaneity of improvisation and the creative process of composition. Students will strengthen their listening skills and their ability to analyze and evaluate music and music performances. Attention will also be given to relating their music experiences to the time and culture of the pieces they study, as well as to contemporary society. Choir will be twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays from  2:002:45 pm

Please fill this out by Friday, Aug. 25th.  You will not have to sign anything or send anything back to school with your student for choir if you fill this out!  Filling this form out shows that you have read and agree with the disclosure document and that you will support your student.  Thank You!
