Battling Burnout and Fostering Resilience

Feeling run down or simply looking for ways to boost your mental wellbeing? Join us on September 28th where we will discuss burnout and resilience - including what they truly are (vs misconceptions) - and ways to increase your personal coping so that you are prepared to tackle all the stressors that grad school brings your way! Melissa B Korman, PhD Candidate and Peer Support Facilitator, will be sharing concepts and experiences from her work in healthcare worker mental health and personal experience as grad student, including tips and tricks that she has learned for increasing your mental wellbeing!

About us
The Graduate Peer Support Network (GPSN) is a new, GLSE-funded initiative founded by graduate students across the Faculty of Medicine. The purpose of the GPSN is to provide Faculty of Medicine graduate students with timely mental health and wellness support, and resources via educational seminars and peer mentorship. There are three components to our mission: peer mentorship, graduate student life seminar series, and research and advocacy.
