LCAS had instituted the staggered start and dismissal for the 2020-2021 school year in order to provide a safe and healthy transportation and learning environment and minimize the impact of Covid on our student body.

In an effort to plan ahead for this coming school year, Lake City would like to continue to offer the Staggered Start and Dismissal for the 2021-2022 school year based on the following information that was collected this school year:

1. Reduction of students allowed distancing on buses with improved health and safety for riders.

2. Improved student behaviors by transporting Elementary separately from Middle and High
School students.

3. Reduction of Drivers and Buses resulted in financial savings to the District.
