WHAT IT IS:
The Literacy Corner is a four-week, comprehensive literacy tutoring program for children/youth ages 6-14 with literacy difficulties. Participating children should have completed kindergarten. It is taught by graduate level, certified teachers in Furman’s Masters of Arts in Education program with a concentration in literacy.
DATES: June 7-June 27, 2024(Week 1, Tuesday through Thursday; Weeks 2 through 3: Monday through Thursday; Week 4, Monday through Friday)
Session 1: 9 a.m.-10 a.m.
Session 2: 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. COST: $100 (we have a limited number of partial scholarships available)

Please note: Attendance for this program is very important. If you would like to apply for this program, you will need to make plans for your child to attend each of the scheduled sessions.
If you will be taking a vacation at any point during this time, please do not apply.
Access to the Internet,
headphones, webcam, microphone, and printer is required. A desktop, laptop, tablet,
or smartphone may be used to access the sessions. Please note: Parents will need to check their email before each session
begins and print out necessary materials if needed. The teacher will send a meeting link to
parents before each session.
