Our EXPLOREcorps program is open to students in rising grades 9-12 who have an interest in careers that involve working outdoors, teaching children, caring for live animals, implementing citizen science, and learning about techniques and skills involved in field biology and outdoor recreation.
Requirements: Program members will be asked to volunteer a minimum of two weeks in the summer for Discovery Camps.
Applicants interested in this opportunity should complete and submit this application along with a letter from a teacher or community leader, not related to the applicant, that outlines why the applicant would make an ideal EXPLOREcorps member. In addition, a short interview is required prior to acceptance.

accepted on a rolling basis with a limited number of spaces available, so please submit applications as soon
as you are able.
Training:
All accepted EXPLOREcorps members are expected to attend a training program which we have tentatively planned for Saturday, May 20th. We will be in contact upon acceptance into the program to find a date or dates which work for our members. This training will require a $250 fee, which covers meals, training, activities, supplies and support throughout the program. Scholarships are available for those who meet economic need-based criteria (scholarship application available upon acceptance into the program).
