2023 Junior Instructor Application

- This is a volunteer position with opportunity for future employment once applicant has reached at least 16 years of age 
- Potential to continue with fall & spring seasons

Summer Sailing Season: June 26th - September 1st, 2023
Expected hours: 8:30am-4:30pm 
hours are flexible but must be discussed prior to season starting

Responsibilities/Qualifications: 
  • Assist sailing & woodworking instructors in delivering summer programs
  • Assist with camp activities such as running field games, setting up activities
  • Work with Youth Sailing & Boat Building staff to evaluate program
  • Passion for working with students & wooden boats
  • Able to lift light to medium weight (20-50 lbs) solo and/or heavy objects (50-100 lbs) with assistance
  • Ability to problem solve and work independently and as a team member
  • Preferred: CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
