American Sign Language (ASL) is a beautifully expressive language that utilizes hand gestures and facial expressions to communicate. Early and enhanced communication with children, as well as connecting with those in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community will make your life infinitely richer. Join us! This series will focus heavily on vocabulary acquisition, while also picking up some tips on appropriate communication and deaf culture. Classes will be fast paced, but geared toward the beginning signer. No experience needed!

This series will occur in two parts: Series 1 and Series 2. Each class will meet once per week, for 8 consecutive weeks. Each student will be entitled to ONE FREE glass of wine or small wine slushy per week. Additional glasses may be purchased on site. Those under 21 years of age will receive a bottle of water and a snack. Required textbook will be provided and used for both series. Classes are intended for adult beginners (16+) and/or those looking to brush up on skills. Please come equipped with paper and pencils for note taking.

* Pre registration and payment are required by Friday, May 6th to allow adequate time for textbook delivery.
