Join us virtually as The Henry Ford presents a free program designed for individuals with autism spectrum disorder or sensory processing disorder and their family members or caregivers. This program is designed for individuals that are 12 and up, but all are welcome.

Participants will learn about the historic kitchens inside Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation from Donna Braden, Curator of Public Life at The Henry Ford. We will also be joined by a special guest - Dominic Blatnik - a regular participant in our Sensory-Friendly programming. He will share his experiences baking and how he built a baking business. Participants will use one of Dominic's recipes to bake cookies along with him and other program participants.

The program will be held virtually via Zoom, and instructions to join, a visual schedule, and the recipe and required ingredients to bake along will be sent out to all registered participants before the program. Please note that participants can choose to have their cameras on Zoom turned on or off during the program.

Space is limited and registration is required. By attending this virtual program, you also have the choice to receive complimentary tickets (up to six per family) that would allow you to visit either Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation or Greenfield Village and see the historic kitchens and culinary artifacts in person. If you are interested in tickets, please make sure to specify this in the registration information below and to provide your name and address so that we can mail the tickets to you.
