Hybrid 2nd Semester
After a semester of hybrid, we have taken the time to collect community feedback from teachers and students about hybrid learning and what works vs what did not.  Everyone agrees that COVID makes school harder but students who have opted into hybrid really feel that being on campus makes a difference.  By the end of the semester, however, the success of the program was made more difficult due to the variation of attendance numbers based on who was actually coming to campus. Low numbers create challenges for teachers and students in making the hybrid model successful.

As a result, for semester two, we are going to request that families commit to either virtual or hybrid for an extended period of time.  Students who opt into hybrid will be expected to attend school on their assigned days (unless they are ill or required to quarantine) and absences will be logged. A link for change of status will be provided when we send out progress reports on February 19th.

In an effort to provide the greatest opportunity for engagement, we are conducting this survey with a three step process.  

Step One: committing to hybrid or opting out until February 19th
Step Two: request a change of group providing a justification for request (carpool, activities etc.)
Step Three: indicate your interest in being on-site all four teaching days each week. Please note: that the format of how this plays out will be decided based on interest, academic need, and ability to maintain a safe learning environment following all county guidelines

Please take a moment to fill out this survey to let us know whether your child will be opting out of the on-site hybrid learning option. If you have more than one child, please fill out a form for each of your children.

Please submit by Friday, Jan 8th so that we can appropriately plan for hybrid learning.

Please note: If we do not receive a survey response we will assume that students will be maintaining their current status as of December 17th.

County guidelines limit the number of students we can have in one room (or on campus) at one time.  These requests will be reviewed individually and are not guaranteed.  You must wait for confirmation of approval of your request before changing days your daughter comes on campus.
