The Early College Academy (ECA), is an academic, college preparatory program intended to enable students to pursue post-secondary education at a four-year college or university. Los Amigos High School is looking for students who are motivated to take college classes. ECA students must demonstrate the ability to make mature, independent, and responsible choices to succeed in college preparatory high school classes and college classes. Early College Academy students begin taking dual-credit courses during their freshman year allowing students to apply to the University of California, California State University, a private university, or an institution of higher learning with transferable college credits.
Although we have completed the recruitment process for the ECA Class of 2028 cohort, we recognize that there are more students who would like an opportunity to join ECA in the fall. As a result, we are offering the ECA Waitlist Application to those who would still like to be considered for the program. During the summer months (June, July, & August 2024), we will monitor the waitlist and reach-out to qualified students when spots are available. We will determination ECA admissions on a case-by-case basis, so it is in your best interest to complete the Waitlist Application early.
