GUIDELINES FOR SUBMITTING GRANT PROPOSALS:
1. Deadline for grant proposals for 2023-2024 is 11:59 pm on Monday, Oct 2nd 2023. Submit applications online using the form below. Once your form is submitted, you can not go in to make additional edits. You may want to work on the questions offline in a separate document, then cut and paste answers when you are ready to submit.
2. Grants will be awarded based on an evaluation of the application.
3. INDIVIDUAL OR TEAM GRANTS - a “team” is defined as 2 or more members of a grade level or department. If your name is part of a team request, you can not submit for an additional individual grant. Each teacher may submit their name on only one proposal, but if your grade/department has submitted a team proposal of which you are not part, you may submit an individual proposal.
4. In order to allow us the ability to give to a broad range of classrooms, there are limits in place for dollar amounts requested - individual teacher requests carry a maximum grant limit of $1000, and team requests carry a maximum grant limit of $2500.
4. Budget requests will be considered for many areas including, but not limited to: supplies and materials, books, artist-in-residence programs, supplemental curriculum, and equipment. To receive consideration, proposals should include the following: a) all information requested in the online form, b) a budget with approvable items that clearly support the instructional objectives (please include shipping charges as part of your budget). Do go over your request with your site administrator and check if your request--or part of it--could be fulfilled from the school's supply budget. In multiple item budget requests, make clear if items need to be supported by other items in order to function.
5. Grants will be awarded in November of 2023.
6. Applications will be evaluated by a committee which includes Noble Public School Foundation board members.
7. In the event you are awarded a grant, the NPS Foundation will require completion of a follow up feedback survey with classroom outcomes, along with access to your classroom to allow the NPS Foundation to capture photos/videos of the grant items in action for promotional purposes.
8. This is a collaborative process between the Foundation and faculty members applying. Please reach out to us if you have any questions about the application process so that our Grant Committee can help you submit the best possible application. You can contact us via email at info@noblepsfoundation.org.
