Teaching with Art at Sheldon: A Workshop for Faculty in All Disciplines

When: Tuesday, August 15, 2023, 9:30–11:30 AM

Where: Sheldon Museum of Art, 12th and R Streets

Learn about museum resources and strategies to enhance teaching and experiential learning. Hear from faculty members in political science, sociology, and teaching about ways they have incorporated art and visits to Sheldon into their classes. Engage with art and other participants through interactive, hands-on, inquiry-based activities. Develop and receive feedback from museum staff and peers on potential lesson plans or assignments for your upcoming classes.

Faculty of all levels, and in all colleges and schools, are encouraged to participate.
