Death Nesting with Anne-Marie Keppel
WEDNESDAY AUGUST 12 7:30 – 9:00pm EDT
Recommended for Adults and older teens
Death Nesting: Ancient & Modern Death Doula Techniques, Mindfulness Practices and Herbal Care is Anne-Marie's first book and 2020 bronze medal winner of the Independent Publisher Book Awards.

In this evening workshop we will go over some of your questions from the book that pertain to death and dying in general. We will also touch upon topics that are relevant right now facing our own mortality in the age of Covid-19 and how to work with anxiety.

Though I am not trained in leading discussions on racism, I am open to those discussions as well since they also include fears and anxiety around death. You may want to encourage your child/ren to join The Death of Faefolk book discussion while you take this so that it will generate family discussion! We'll start each session with a short meditation and then delve into the book.
This workshop will be 1.5 hours. All are welcome to join, though the content is for those who can openly discuss or listen to conversations regarding death and dying.

A note about the "donation based" offerings:
For some of our teachers, sharing their art with others is how they make a living, and we feel strongly that we need to support them as much as possible. Please make an offering to either the presenter or to KCL Family Camp Council so we can be sure we compensate presenters for their time, magic and skill.
