1. Venue Arrangements
Artists and event organizers are responsible for securing their own venues for their projects. The OSP team can assist with recommendations but will not organize venues on behalf of participants.
2. Venue-Artist Agreements
Any terms and conditions between venues and artists must be directly clarified between both parties. OSP will not be held responsible for miscommunications or disputes once an agreement has been made and will not mediate such negotiations.
3. Promotional Materials
Venues and artists are encouraged to create their own promotional materials in their preferred style. However, all promotional materials (print or digital) must include the OSP logo in accordance with the provided guidelines. Please contact the OSP team if you require the logo files or additional guidance.
4. Paid Events and Workshops
Organizers of paid events and workshops are responsible for setting their fees and managing all payment collection independently.
5. Cross-Promotion
If venues and artists share OSP promotional materials, OSP will reciprocate with additional promotion via its social media channels.
6. Opening Ceremonies
Any additional opening ceremonies organized by venues or artists outside the main OSP ceremony must be self-funded. However, OSP is happy to provide promotional support upon request.
7. OSP Discretionary Promotion
OSP reserves the right to promote any participating artist or project at its discretion.
8. Project Prioritization
Priority will be given to projects that involve open studios or feature active artist participation during exhibition hours.
9. Submission Deadlines
Submissions, including project details, images, or payment, will not be accepted after the deadlines specified in the Artist Form.
10. Participation Fee
A non-refundable fee of RM50 is required to secure participation in the OSP Festival. This fee must be paid by the date and method outlined in the Artist Form.
11. Fee Allocation
The participation fee will be used exclusively for festival promotion and its participants. No member of the OSP team will utilize these funds for personal use. Final accounts will be made available for review by any artist upon request after the festival concludes.
12. Code of Conduct
OSP reserves the right to deny participation to any venue or artist whose actions or projects risk causing damage, offense, or involvement in illegal activities of any kind.
