This is a free, two-week journey in environmental leadership, with engaging activities every weekday at the Ojai Library, including project planning, personal pitch sessions, and exploring environmental careers, which culminates in a field trip at Hurricane Harbor!
Space is limited for this program, so please only apply if you intend on coming every day. We will be meeting from 12pm-3pm, Monday through Friday at the Ojai Library (July 15th - July 26th). The last day we will be hosting a field trip to Hurricane Harbor from 9am-5pm. We will provide transportation for the Hurricane Harbor field trip.

Acceptance into this program is limited to 10 participants. Criteria for applying:
1. You are 13 - 20 years old
2. You have a passion for the environment
3. You are reliable and will come to meetings on time
4. You can provide examples of personal actions taken to help the environment

If you are not accepted, the Youth Council happens two times a year, please apply again in the Fall. We invite you to apply to other Green Valley programs and join us at our community volunteer events!
