Our Revolution Medford Candidate Agreement 2023
As a candidate requesting this endorsement from Our Revolution Medford, I agree to the below commitments during my electoral campaign and while in office.

I understand that the Our Revolution Medford membership supports endorsed candidates through organizing and volunteering, and that as an endorsed candidate I will be included in campaign-related outreach to support the Our Revolution Medford slate.

I also understand that in making the below commitments, I am holding myself accountable to the people of Medford, who have collaboratively developed the platform to help make our local government more inclusive and responsive to the needs of everyone who calls Medford home.

I agree to fully support the 2023 Medford People’s Platform and agree to adopt the platform as part of my personal goals as an elected member of Our Revolution Medford. *
During my campaign, I commit to spending an equal amount of funds as all other endorsed candidates for any joint expenditures when agreed to by the Coordinated Campaign Team, of which all endorsed candidates will be a member. Other shared commitments to the Coordinated Campaign Team include fundraising call time. I recognize that the benefits to my campaign include shared literature, shared lists, and shared volunteers. *
During and after my campaign, I will not take campaign funds from for-profit real estate developers, police unions, charter school PACs, large corporate PACs, or private health insurance PACs. *
After my election, I will participate in a monthly review of public meeting agendas and issues with OR Medford members, in order to engage the greatest number of community members in local government decision-making in a meaningful way. Convened by Our Revolution Medford’s Electoral Working Group, these meetings will adhere to open meeting laws while giving a regular opportunity for both elected and general membership to set and review the agenda and upcoming opportunities for action, to support the platform, and our elected members.

If elected, by May 1, 2024, I commit to hold open office hours in a public informal setting (and/or virtual equivalent), open to all and distinct from ORM Electoral WG meetings described above. *
