We appreciate your interest in becoming a member of our Board of Directors for the United Way of Hardin County. Each year, the organization helps thousands of people within Hardin County, and we can’t do it without the Board. Our Board is meant to be a diverse representation of our community. Please fill out the application below to the best of your ability. Applying for a Board position does not guarantee that you will be selected. Selected applicants will have an interview with members of the current Board and the organization’s CEO. All Board members are expected to be donors for the United Way of Hardin County.

By submitting this application, I acknowledge that membership on the Board of Directors is a volunteer, unpaid position. I further acknowledge that Board members are expected to do the following: donate financially at least annually; attend a minimum of 50% of events, meetings, or other activities; and always represent the United Way in a positive light. I understand that if I miss three consecutive meetings, I may be removed from the Board of Directors. I further understand that all Board members have a legal and fiduciary responsibility to the organization. Upon final selection, a Board Member agreement must be signed.
