Leading from the Classroom: Application for Reduced-fee Registration and Scholarships
At the Black Teacher Project, we are committed to creating access and opportunity.
In an effort to increase equity and access to our Leading from the Classroom workshop, we are offering reduced-fee seats and scholarships on an application-basis. We encourage folks who have limited access to financial resources for professional development to apply.
To be considered for a fee reduction or scholarship, PLEASE COMPLETE THIS FORM BY FRIDAY, February 7th to give us a better understanding of who you are and the situation in which you are working. We will be in touch by Tuesday, February 11th, to inform all applicants if they will/will not be granted a scholarship.
PLEASE NOTE: This fee reduction/scholarship application is only applicable to Leading from the Classroom's registration fee. We are not able to offer scholarships that cover transportation and/or lodging at this time.
***If you receive financial support, we ask that you provide an artifact of your experience regarding our Leading from the Classroom workshop. This will help us gauge the impact of this program and determine adjustments that will benefit future participants. Examples of artifacts include: (1) Participating in an interview for up to one hour (2) Submitting a short one to three page write-up of what you learned from the the workshop (3) Submitting a short five to ten minute reflection video.
