Best Burger in Florida - Competitor Sign Up
Cooks Letter 2023

#VooDies:

I am excited to announce the fourth annual VooDoo Bash, featuring the #VooDie Food Fight! The event will take place on August, 19, 2023, in support of the VooDoo Chef Foundation! The Foundation has been supporting the community through food and education since 2017, and could not thrive without the support of our many community and business partners. We would like to invite you to participation in our #VooDie Food Fight, where we will recognize the BEST BURGER in FLORIDA! Included you will find an overview and expectations of our cook teams including a full timeline.

As part of the #VooDie Food Fight, Chefs/Teams will create a BURGER that they will serve to tasting guests at the event. Contestants are encouraged to VooDoo-fy their BURGER and enter into the best use of VooDoo Category as well. Each chef/team will have no limitations as to what type of burger they may prepare. However, we ask that teams present the same burger to guests that they present to the judges. We encourage all chefs/teams to mise (prepare) in advance and plan to finish their creations onsite. Please keep in mind all food safety regulations. If you have questions regarding food safety, please feel free to reach out to our team.

At the end of the day, our goal is to have everyone’s food enjoyed securing a hefty donation for the real winner, the VooDoo Chef Foundation, as we crown winners in the following categories: Fan Favorite #VooDie Food Fight Winner, Best Use of Bacon, Best Use of VooDoo, and the #VooDie Food Fight Champion!

Thank you for joining us at the event. We know the cooks are what make the event successful, and we appreciate your support.

Respectfully,

Erik Youngs, CEO
The VooDoo Chef Foundation
