Pilots - you are and wanted and needed!
Thank you for your interest in flying with us!  We are always looking for qualified pilots and mechanics willing to volunteer their time to make these vital trips possible.  Our mission is to compassionately connect people in need with hope, help, and healing, whether in the air or on the ground.

General Aviation is our backbone and we serve both in the U.S. and into Mexico.

Our range is typically 200 - 700nm (one way) and we have a "partial fuel reimbursement" program - see below.

** MISSION FLIGHT BENEFITS **

1.  Powerful opportunity to build time and receive high quality training
2.  Receive a tax deduction for the full cost of your flight
3.  Gain international boarder crossing experience
4.  Serve people in need, both in the U.S. (patient transport flights) or internationally.

** SAFETY FIRST **

Our pilots must have an uncompromising professional attitude towards safety.  We are flying medical professionals, other volunteers and medical patients whose lives will depend on you.  These are all "Part 91" volunteer flights.

** PARTIAL FUEL REIMBURSEMENT POLICY **

Mission Flight currently will reimburse you $100 per patient transport flight (in the Southern California region and up to $185 per volunteer to our clinic in San Quintin, MX)  This is a partial or "shared" fuel reimbursement to stay with in the boundary of Part 91 flight rules.

Note: The total cost of the flight is fully tax-deductible as allowable by current tax laws (less the reimbursement amount).  Consult your tax professional.

Mission Flight is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization EIN 81-4446312.

** We typically have more volunteers than we have seats available - WE NEED YOU!

Thank you for partnering with us!

"Rancho Magano" (XMAG) airstrip is on the north side of the town of San Quintin in Baja Mexico.  In 2017 we built a dental clinic about 7 minutes away by van at a local church.  We serve this area frequently, particularly the migrant farm workers and their families.  The needs are significant.
