קהילה יקרה,
במהלך השנה האחרונה הקהילה צמחה ועשתה חיל, ב"ה.
הצטרפו אלינו חברות וחברים חדשים רבים, שמחנו בשמחות משמעותיות בקהילה (חתונות, לידות ובר/ת מצוות) והכי משמעותי: התפתחנו, למדנו אחד מהשני, השתדלנו להושיט עזרה לזולת. היום, יותר מתמיד, אני מרגיש שאנחנו זקוקים כמה שיותר לקהילות שיכולות להכיל.- את השונה, את האחר, את הסתירות. להיות מקום של חיפוש בלתי פוסקת אחרי דבר ה' וגם בית לכל דורש. בית שבו מקבלים כל אחד ואחת בסבר פנים יפות. שבו האדם לא חייב להסתתר או להתנהג באופן מסוים על מנת להיות 'מהמקובלים'.
והנה אנחנו פה... מתכוננים לשנה החדשה.
כל הפעילות הענפה, הכוללת בתוכה לא רק את התפילות והקידושים אלא גם אירועים במשך השבוע, שיעורים, בתי מדרש, יוצרים קהילה חיה ותוססת - כל הטוב הזה קשור בהירתמות של כל אחד ואחת, גם בתמיכה השנתית וגם בהתנדבות השוטפת, החל מעזרה בניקוי וסידור ועד להירתמות ויזמות אישית.
על מנת להמשיך לעוד שנה של פעילות אנחנו זקוקים לתמיכה ולשותפות שלכם!
כבכל שנה אנו מבקשים מכם לתרום בעין יפה - ללא קשר לאם במקרה תחגגו אתנו את הימים הנוראים. התמיכה השנתית שלכם מהווה נדבך חשוב בגיוס המשאבים שלנו וביכולת שלנו להמשיך בפעילות של בית הכנסת והקהילה.
כמו שנה שעברה אנחנו מציעים בטופס ההרשמה מספר אפשרויות אבל בסופו של דבר מדובר בהחלטה אישית. נשתדל כמיטב יכולתנו לדאוג למקומות עבור הימים הנוראים אבל מספר המקומות מוגבל אז נא לגלות הבנה. כמובן, שמי שאינו מסוגל לשלם את העלות המוצעות ישלם כפי יכולתו. התשלום לא צריך להגביל אף אחד או אחת מלהשתתף בתפילה ובפעילות של הקהילה.
בטופס זה תמצאו גם מספר שאלות שנשמח שתענו עליהן. חשוב לנו מאוד להבין את צרכי הקהילה שלנו ולשמוע מכל אחד ואחת מכם. נשמח שתענו על שאלות אלו בכנות ובפתיחות כדי שנוכל לעשות עבודה טובה יותר.
ההרשמה עבור מקומות ישיבה לימים הנוראים היא עד יום ראשון כ"ד באלול 10/9/2023.
לאחר מכן לא נוכל להבטיח מקומות.

Dear Yakar community,
During the last year the community has grown and prospered, Baruch Hashem!
New members have joined, we have celebrated and commemorated important smachot in the community (such as: weddings, births, Bat and Bat mitzvot), and most importantly: we have advanced, we've learnt from one another, and tried our best to help those around us.
Today, more than ever before, I feel that we are in great need for a community that is able to accomodate all types of people, those that are similar to us, different to us, everyone, a place of yearning to do G-d's will, and a home for all. A home where everyone is accepted and loved, just as they are, and feel free to be themselves and nothing else.
And here we are, preparing for a new year.
Our extensive activities, including prayers and kiddushes every week, in addition to weekly events, the Beit Midrashim, community building and more - all of this good has been possible due to the support of each and every one of you. This includes your yearly financial donation, volunteering of your efforts and time, cleaning and set-up as well as individual initiaves which you have brought throughout the year.
In order for us to continue another year of activities, we are in need of your support and contribution! Every year we kindly ask you to donate from your hearts, whether you are able to celebrate the High Holidays with us or not. Your yearly contribution is paramount for our fundrainsing and our ability to continue the activities of the synagogue and the community.
Similar to last year, in this google form we suggest a number of donation options, however, at the end of the day it is entirely personal. We will attempt to ensure, to the best of our abilities, spaces for you during the High Holidays. However, the number of seats are limited, so please bear with us. It goes without saying that if one is unable to pay the suggested donation values on this form, they will be able to contribute according to their ability. This payment will not limit anyone from being welcome or from participating in the davening and activities of the shule.
In this form there are also a number of questions which we would appreaciate you answering. It is really important to us to understand the needs of the community and to hear from each and every one of you! We would greatly appreciate you answering them with honesty and openness so that we can do a better job.
The High Holidays seating sign-up will close on the 10/9/23 which is the 24th of Elul. After this date we will not be able to guarantee a seat. We look forward to spending another year together.
