Our lively membership enjoys very diverse interests and we welcome courses on a variety of topics: history, arts, politics, how-tos, literature, writing, sports and a plethora of other interests. We embrace information on preventative care, living your best life, movement (yoga, Tai Chi, etc.) and scientific medical breakthroughs that may be of interest. Society throws so much negative aging information our way, we tend to not offer courses on the negative medical impacts of aging.

When you write your description, keep in mind that it will be used to attract folks to register for and attend your course so be clear and descriptive about what they will learn in your course. Past catalogs are a great resource for description style as well. OLLI reserves right to edit all course titles and descriptions with or without instructor involvement. Additionally, a brief bio, head shot and a photo that relates directly to the course offering are an important. component to our marketing.

Course proposal forms are reviewed by the program’s executive director and/or our OLLI Advisory Council Curriculum Committee. We try to respond quickly as to whether your course was accepted.

IMPORTANT: OLLI instructors are prohibited from promoting their businesses or organizations or selling any product or service to members.
