Battlefield Application
I’m Hello,

Please fill out this application if you are looking to purchase a puppy in 2023-2024.  As litters are confirmed, I will contact prospective buyers in email.  If you would like to pass on a litter, please let me know.  I only hold application for a calendar year.  At that time, all are archived.

This form will send your application in email as confirmation.  I review this form/spreadsheet once a month or prior to breeding a dog. At that time, I will send you an email on everything we do and what we expect from new parents.

  • When completing the application, please put your ENTIRE ADDRESS.  Don't leave out anything.  I do check to be sure you have a house and so on.  It is to ensure the puppies well being in the future.  You must be over 18 years of age to buy a dog.  Parents will need to contact me otherwise.

  • We also do not guarantee eye color at all. Eyes change.   We don't guarantee that you will get the color of puppy.  We will try to make that happen, but temperament is paramount.  If you are set on a color and not willing to accept a better dog in a different color, I might not be the breeder for you.  EVERYONE WANTS A MERLE.  You want a dog that fits your lifestyle and has the temperament that matches your needs.  That will be the best dog for you not that it is a merle.  However, if that is possible, we will try to make that happen if it is a best fit puppy for you.

  • We want our puppies to be on Life's Abundance products (aka food, supplements, and treats) when owning a Battlefield puppy unless the puppy starts having a digestion issue.  They need to be on QUALITY food for the first 2 years of life.  Big box stores rarely cut it and are on the shelves way too long!!  LA food has great protein levels to prevent rapid growth but also have a great calcium and phosphorous level to promote healthy bones.  We have puppies on the puppy food for the first six months and then they switch to all life stages for the remainder.

  • Spay or neuter comes at  15-24 months, no earlier.

We do not guarantee patella, because  that disease can be very subjective and happen with an injury, overuse,  and being overweight. In addition, excessive exercise or walking can be harmful to your puppy's joints and bones.

We do expect all owners to make the puppy productive, happy, and obedient pet. Therefore, you will need to enroll in a puppy classes followed by obedience training.  We are very serious about this.  A few that have negated this requirement, have contacted me about their dog jumping on counters, barking at strangers, and pulling them around at stores.  This could have been easily avoided by puppy classes and adult obedience.  This is like sending your dog to school with you going to school as well!

A recap on requirements:
1.  Puppy training followed by adult obedience
2.  Do not spay or neuter your puppy until they are 15 -24 months old.
3.  Puppy training classes and adult obedience classes
4.  Feed Life's Abundance dog food the first 2 years of life

We do offer incentive to get dogs in performance events from
  1. FastCat,
  2. Rally,
  3. Obedience, and
  4. agility.
  5. Conformation only if co-owned and on full registration.
If you dog gets a AKC title from one of these, you are eligible for a $100 gift card.  Puppies can only be registered through AKC if minis, and AKC and ASCA if Aussies.  No outside registries are allowed.

If you can uphold these requirements, you can complete the application and submit.  I will email applicants once a litter is confirmed, and you can either pass at that time or put down a deposit.  All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE but good until a puppy is selected.

DO NOT LEAVE OUT INFORMATION OR YOU WILL NOT BE CONTACTED WHEN THE TIME COMES!

This application is only retained for a year.  After a year, you will need to complete another application.

We are excited for you to be part of our doggie family.  If you need anything, don't hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,

Karen Kollmer
