The HESIG is proud to offer graduate student travel awards to expand the opportunity for more graduate students to be able to attend the CIES annual conference. This travel award is funded by the CIES HESIG. All graduate student members of the HESIG are invited to submit applications.

Award Timeline:

· Applications due for the CIES 2024 conference: January 9

· Award recipients announced: January 20

Amount: Two awards for $500.

Use:
The award can be utilized for reimbursement of airfare, hotel, or conference registration. Awards are awarded based on the quality of the application and institutional representation, including consideration of applicants traveling from outside of North America. Priority will be given to first-time attendees and those who have a proposal accepted for the 2024 CIES conference.
