We're The Fika Table--a small, independent bakery bringing Nordic baked goods to the heart of Texas! Started in 2020 from the Finnish family recipes of the owner, we specialize in the baked goods that accompany fika, a daily Scandinavian ritual centered on taking a pause and connecting with others over coffee and something sweet.

Seeking a Brand Ambassador for our weekly Saturday booth at Wolf Ranch Farmers Market, Georgetown. You will be the face of The Fika Table with our regular and new customers at this thriving market, conducting sales, providing warm customer service, answering questions or pointing to resources, and ensuring safe handling and transportation of our baked goods.

This is a part-time position with potential to grow if desired.
$75 per market plus sales commission

Responsibilities:
-Pick up and transport products and market booth items (tent, coolers, signage etc) from contact point in Hutto and transport items to Wolf Ranch Farmers Market, Georgetown. Your own transport is preferred, large car like an SUV or truck. If not, one is provided.
-Provide friendly customer service and make sales of baked goods from 8am-1pm
-Ensure safe temperatures and handling of food as instructed, and that booth is clean and orderly at all times
-Work with farmers market organizer if needed to make any on-the-spot adjustments
-Set up booth in assigned spot and take down booth with all materials
-Operate POS, handle cash and digital payments, and accurately report sales of all items
-Neatly pack and return all unsold product and booth items to contact point
-Must be punctual and reliable, proactively communicating with owner or point person
-Must learn about our product, mission, operations, and ingredients in order to give accurate information to customers
-Must have strong presentation skills and interest in increasing sales of our products
-Must have food handlers certificate (or agree to acquire one within 30 days. This is via an online test, we will pay the fee)
