UW Lakeshore Nature Preserve, Picnic Point entrance kiosk, parking available in UW Lot 130 (2003 University Bay Drive, Madison 53705), also accessible on foot or by bike on the Lakeshore Path or on free 80 bus route

The Lakeshore Nature Preserve is a 300-acre outdoor classroom and laboratory on the UW-Madison campus. In addition to serving the teaching, research, and outreach mission of the university, it provides a natural setting for respite and well-being. Join UW Lakeshore Nature Preserve staff to participate in an ecological restoration activity followed by a walk to take in the autumn sights of Picnic Point and Lake Mendota. Tools, gloves, and training provided.
