Majority of medical students are blind to the vast opportunities open to them after the MBChB degree due to lack of information and exposure to the depth of the various fields besides the academic aspect. This makes the decision making process on which speciality one should join hard as they are unaware of and unable to properly evaluate all available options and make decisions from a well-informed point of view.

Based on this, MUMSA has introduced MUMSA INSPIRES sessions dubbed Kyolina Omanya (What you need to know). This initiative is part of MUMSA’s programming aimed at increasing our members’ level of knowledge and exposure about both professional and academic post-graduate opportunities.
